CHARLOTTE W MARIS, CPA
Charlotte founded the firm in 1984. She has over 30 years of
industry experience including 11 years working on audits of
municipalities in Northern California. She has had extensive
experience working with individuals, corporations, estates and
non-profits. The firm has experienced constant growth and is
currently serving over 150 businesses and 850 individuals throughout
the Puget Sound area.
She specializes in tax planning and
consulting for small closely held companies. Charlotte works with a
wide variety of clients in the areas of personal services, sales,
contractors and non-profit organizations.
Charlotte
graduated in 1982 with a BS with majors in Accounting and Business
Administration from Central Washington University. She is a past
President and board member of the Snohomish County Chapter of the
Washington State Society of CPA. She has been very active in
Toastmasters International and has served as the President of the
Everett Chapter.
Charlotte lives in Maryville with her
husband Jerry and her Chihuahua, Brandy. Charlotte enjoys family and
friends, yoga and walking, growing tomatoes, trying to play the

HOLLY KOPRA, CPA
Holly joined the firm in
2007. She is a Certified Public Accountant with over 10 years in
public
accounting specializing in Federal Tax. Prior to public
accounting she worked for several years in private accounting.
Holly is a tax manager who works with closely held
businesses and
their owners on tax planning and
compliance work.
She enjoys learning about their
various businesses and developing
trusting client
relationships. Her work also includes
planning and taxation for individuals, estates and trusts. In addition, she oversees the accounting and bookkeeping
services of the firm.
She is a 1999 graduate of Seattle University Albers School
of Business and holds a BA in Business Administration/Accounting.
She is a licensed CPA and a member of the Washington Society of
Certified Public Accountants, the Snohomish County Estate Planning
Council and Everett Chamber of Commerce. She enjoys a variety of
volunteer work and has been affiliated with NISSA (formerly the SIDS
Foundation of Washington) as a volunteer, trustee and treasurer.
Holly lives in Everett with her husband, son and their
overly-affectionate cat, Snickers. Outside of the firm, she
enjoys spending quality family time, cooking, concerts (especially
Tim McGraw), travelling and scrapbooking.

DERREI PHILLIPS, MPA, Staff AccountantDerrei has been with the firm since 2003. She
started as seasonal help during the tax season and then joined the
firm permanently in 2006 as a staff accountant.
She is a
Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and provides QuickBooks training to
new and existing clients.. In addition, she
prepares tax returns for individuals, corporations, not-for-profits,
and does some accounting and bookkeeping services.
Derrei
graduated in 2007, cum laude, from
Derrei lives in Mill Creek with her husband, Walter; her 1 year old boy/girl twins, Chloe and Corvin; and their cat, Angie. She usually spends her most of her time chasing after the twins, but tries to sneak in the other joys of quilting; cooking and baking; playing one of her six instruments; sunshine; camping; tae-bo & yoga; and wake- & snowboarding; and spending good quality time with family and friends.

DOLORES COLE, Staff Accountant
Dolores joined our firm as a staff accountant in 1997.
She
specializes in areas relating to payroll including payroll tax
reports and W-2’s. She also does general accounting and individual
income tax preparation.
Dolores received her bachelor’s
degree from Central Washington University majoring in Sociology,
with minors in English and Elementary Education..
Raised on a
wheat farm in Eastern Washington, Dolores moved to “the Coast”
following her college graduation. She is active in her local church
and participates in activities which support the Interfaith
Association of NW Washington..
She lives in Everett with her
husband, Elmer. In her spare time she enjoys reading, music and
gardening.

HEATHER
ENDRESON, Firm Administrator
Heather has been with
Maris & Associates for 3 years. She "wears many hats" in the
firm.
In addition to providing the office administration,
she also handles some bookkeeping services for the firm.
Heather graduated from Bishop’s University in Lennoxville, Quebec
with a BA in Drama, and really misses those cold and snowy Canadian
winters.
